TRAM is involved in Theatre in Education projects, Re-enactments of Historical moments in history and Promenade productions in parks and graveyards. About Isobel

Isobel Barrett, present Artistic Director, founded the company after realising that there was a need to get new writing out to the public. As such she has written and directed many new plays and encourages work from new Dramatists eager to see their work in production. Opportunities are also available for Trainee Directors and Performance Theatre Graduates to enhance their acting skills and knowledge.

The company works with the local community offering opportunities to be part of Community Drama either in an acting capacity or behind the scenes with wardrobe, stage management, sound, lighting or front of house. We encourage volunteers and recognise that involvement in the performing arts can offer an opportunity to enhance self-confidence, self-esteem and to also have an enjoyable time in the process.

As a company we recognise the commitment, talent, generosity and hard work put in by all who work with TRAM. We hope that their time with us leads on to greater challenges and perhaps offers a chance to fulfil some lifetime ambitions within the arts.
